I enjoy the great outdoors and all God has blessed us with here on this Earth to enjoy and be stewards of. So whether I am out on the stream catching trout, shooting guns, hunting, hitting the snowy slopes on my snowboard, riding the single-track trails on my mountain bike, bicycling with my family, having friends and family over to our home, camping, hiking, doing one of a many home projects, canoeing or doing ministry with my family, I am thankful for this life that God has blessed me to live to the fullest.
Family is incredibly important to me! My wife, Aimee and I have two boys and two girls. We love doing new things, and experiencing new places…as long as we’re in it together.
I have the best “job” in the world: Youth Ministry! Since 2007 I have enjoyed being the Youth Ministry Coordinator here at Shepherd of the Lakes! I have the privilege of running Youth P.O.W.E.R. Groups (High School Student Ministry), and overseeing M&M ministry (Middle School Student Ministry). Also, each week I take time to mentor a student in our elementary school. I love helping and guiding students to live out their Christian faith. I am also a part of WAYnet (Waupaca Area Youth Network), which is a group of local youth pastors who are passionate in reaching out to the unreached teens in our community, connecting church kids to one another across church denominations, and building one another up.
