“Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17 (NLT)
The Sunday after Easter (April 3) we are starting a message series covering the entire book of Ephesians. Over the coming weeks and months we will be talking about what it means to be “IN Christ”. What it means to be blessed; chosen; adopted; enlightened; forgiven; rich; sealed with the Holy Spirit. And that’s just the first chapter of this great book!
In the midst of persecution and turmoil the Christians in Ephesus are called to focus on the riches and power they have because they are in Christ Jesus. Much of our attitude as Christians is set by what we choose to focus on in our daily life. I can choose to focus on this world or I can choose to focus on the fact that I am IN Christ Jesus. What are you focusing on?
Join Pastor Dean in reading the book of Ephesians numerous times during the coming weeks and months and change your future. Join us and start beginning to hear what God is saying!
